We've been working on Yardbarker's looks for the past few months - we sent it to the gym and got it a new wardrobe. The idea was to save what was working from the first version of Yardbarker, but to choose a new layout, colors, and graphics that would give the site the professional look and feel that it deserves. As cool as the first version was, we wanted to do more. But the redesign isn't just about looks. One of the things we heard most from our users was that they didn't want to have to leave Yardbarker to get scores, schedules, standings, and player stats. Now, fans of the "big 6" sports can get all this right here on Yardbarker ? you'll never need to go to ESPN.com again ;) Also, this release includes a completely personalizable menubar (that black bar near the top of the page), which makes it incredibly simple for you to quickly get to content about the sports and teams you follow. It's easy to customize the menubar so you're always one click away from the stuff you care about most. There's more, like the ability to upload multiple photos on your Column page, the return of the QuickPost tool (check it out in the Tools menu at the top), and separate pages for Video and Fantasy content. We got the new site out quickly so we could start getting feedback on it (be sure to send us some), but there's more good stuff coming soon, including the ability to upload photos with articles, box scores for the major sports, and better tools for helping you find blogs about your favorite team or sport. With this redesign, we're ready to start spreading the word about Yardbarker. We'll be doing some PR to bring new users to the site, and we could really use your help getting the word out. Please tell all your buds to come check out Yardbarker!
