Behind 22 points from senior guard Jaylin Williams, the No. 16 Tigers downed the Aggies 66-55 inside Neville Arena in Auburn, AL on Tuesday night.

Williams also pulled down eight rebounds to lead his team as the Auburn offense was too much for the unranked Aggies to overcome.

After falling behind 30-22 at the break, A&M could only muster 33 in the second half as Auburn pulled away late in the game for the victory.

Auburn moves to 13-2 overall and 2-0 in SEC play. The Aggies fall to 9-6 overall and 0-2 against SEC opponents.

Senior guard Henry Coleman III led all A&M scorers with 17 and he also registered five boards. Senior guard Tyrece Radford poured in 14 for the Aggies along with seven rebounds. Senior forward Andersson Garcia led all Aggies with 13 rebounds while also scoring six points.

Off the bench, guard K.D. Johnson poured in 14 points while forward Johni Broome chipped in 10 points and led the team with seven rebounds.

The Aggies' last lead of the game came at the 8:56 mark of the final frame as the Tigers pulled away after that on 39.2 percent field goal shooting, 22.7 percent from the arc, and 21-of-26 from the charity stripe.

A&M couldn't come back by shooting just 29 percent from the field, 15.8 percent from 3-point range and 84.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Next, the Aggies head home for a Saturday night matchup with No. 6 Kentucky at Reed Arena at 1 p.m. CT on ESPN.
