NBA props for 3/29: Big 12-game slate means lots of opportunities

We head into the weekend off a 2-2 record with a small profit yesterday. Malik Beasley did cover easily and Jonas Valanciunas made a contribution on the glass. Hopefully, your MLB and NCAA picks came through too.

We have another night of March Madness but the NBA is not holding back tonight. There are 12 games on the schedule. A few good ones in the Western Conference of course with Phoenix at Oklahoma City, Minnesota at Denver, and Dallas at Sacramento.

NBA Props for Friday, March 29

Jaden McDaniels Over 10.5 Points (+100)
Timberwolves vs. Nuggets, 9 p.m. ET

Beating the prop market is often just about playing time. Thanks to some injuries to his teammates McDaniels is getting a nice opportunity with Minnesota right now. This number is right at his season average but I am more intrigued by the fact that he has scored 15+ in three of the last four games (with a high of 26).

Russell Westbrook Over 7.5 Points (+100)
Clippers vs. Magic, 7 p.m. ET

Westbrook is one of the hardest guys to handicap in the league right now. He is not the player he once was but at times can be very productive in limited minutes. He is averaging 11 ppg on the season and in his last 10 games he has bested this prop seven times so I am overlooking the fact that he scored only six points in two of his last three games.

Derrick Jones Jr. Over 3.5 Rebounds (+135) Alt Line
Mavericks vs. Kings, 10 p.m. ET

You know I like Jones more than a bettor probably should. His production is inconsistent for sure but we can get a massive bump here from 2.5 (-160) to the line listed above. That might not have been enough under other circumstances but against Sacramento let's let it fly. These teams just met and he had three boards in his last game.

Tre Mann Over 4.5 Rebounds (+120)
Warriors vs. Hornets, 7 p.m. ET

Mann did not get much run with the Thunder but now that he is with Charlotte he is averaging 31 mpg. With that time he is actually averaging just under 5 rpg so this is basically getting a great payoff for pretty average production. He has been over this total four times in the last 10 games with a couple of games right at four too. Against Golden State, the opportunity is there.
