Chelsea are moving for Nice goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

The Dane is available from Nice after arriving a year ago from Leicester City.

The Guardian says Chelsea see Schmeichel as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga. Kepa is on the brink of a loan move to Real Madrid.

Schmeichel would sign for Chelsea as cover for new No1 Robert Sanchez.

Talks are now underway among the three parties with Schmeichel open to the move.
