Newcastle reach deal for Bournemouth defender Kelly

Newcastle United are said to have reached an agreement to sign Lloyd Kelly on a free transfer.

The Bournemouth centre half is ready to move to a bigger club at this stage of his career.

Per Foot Mercato, the 25-year-old is ready to rejoin manager Eddie Howe, who brought him to the Cherries in 2019.

Howe believes that Lloyd can easily slot into the Magpies' defense next season.

He may also be joined by another defender who could arrive as a free agent.

Newcastle are very serious about securing center half Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham.
