Over the years, Paris Saint-Germain has frequently recruited players from FC Barcelona. The team has secured the talents of Neymar Jr., Xavi Simons, Ousmane Dembélé, and Arnau Tenas from the Spanish side, and it’s possible there may be more acquisitions in the future.

PSG will reportedly look to revamp their center-back position this summer. This process began this past January with the arrival of Lucas Beraldo. Nonetheless, once the transfer window opens, more moves should be expected in the coming weeks.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Chelsea, PSG, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Newcastle United are all interested in Jules Koundé. The Spanish club could look to sell players that have a market to bolster their transfer budget and improve their team this summer.

PSG had a front-row seat of Koundé to scout and determine whether he’s a player that they want to pursue. The defender fits the profile that the Parisians are pursuing as he’s French, in his prime, and probably doesn’t have a massive price tag.

Koundé has appeared in 44 matches across all competitions for Barcelona this season while scoring two goals and recording four assists. Moreover, Transfermarkt puts the 25-year-old’s transfer value at €50 million.
